The Minnesota Budget Project conducts our work in concert with formal and informal partners and allies, strengthening and magnifying each others' efforts to meet shared goals and aspirations. Here are some of our primary partnerships and coalitions.

EARN

We are a member of EARN, a nationwide network of research, policy, and organizing and advocacy organizations fighting, state by state, for an economy that works for everyone. EARN’s member organizations work in cities and states throughout the country, providing data-based assessments of local conditions for working families and offering policy road maps to shared economic opportunity and security.

Kids Can't Wait

The Minnesota Budget Project is a member of the Kids Can't Wait Coalition, a nonpartisan group of partners working to make child care affordable for more Minnesota families. Expanding Child Care Assistance ensures care for children from birth to age 12, for all times of the day and days of the week that parents work, and in communities across the state.



The Minnesota Asset Building Coalition -MABC


Minnesota Asset Building Coalition

The Minnesota Asset Building Coalition advocates for policies that provide the opportunity for financially fragile Minnesotans to build wealth and climb the economic ladder. The Minnesota Budget Project is one of its 140 member organizations that work together seeking smart asset building policies that lead to more financially healthy households, increased economic activity in local communities, and a stronger and more robust state economy.

State Priorities Partnership

The Minnesota Budget Project is part of the State Priorities Partnership, a network of more than 40 independent, nonprofit research and advocacy organizations that fight for a just and equitable America. State Priorities partners use evidence and analysis to advance policies that give more people the opportunity to prosper. The State Priorities Partnership is coordinated by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

We are a leading member of This is Medicaid, a coalition of nonpartisan organizations from across Minnesota that works to protect Medicaid from harmful changes and funding cuts, and ensure that all Minnesotans can get the health care they need, when they need it. This Is Medicaid understands that affordable health care is critical to thriving Minnesota families and communities.
